grooved rotor

I have only gotten 800 miles on my car and the drivers front rotor has three deep grooves in it. All the other rotors are fine. Is this normal or should I take it in?

do they go along with the shape of the rotor or is it like a straight line? because if its like a circle that goes along the rotor you probably hit a rock and it scratched it in between the brake pad and the rotor. that happened to me.

When people first started getting MS6's they had problems with grooves in the rotors. It turned out to be something like bad pads that had abrasive patches in them. Try going to the dealer and showing them the problem, I know some members were able to get new rotors and pads. I had this problem as well, but it was not that bad for me. It never affected performance to my knowledge...

They are having problems with the pad clips on the front calipers shifting inwards towards the rotor. There are modified pad clips available.
