Can I buy the Sirius unit anywhere other than a Mazda-related store. Some of the big box retailers have turners for Kenwood, Jensen, JVC, Sony, etc. that are much cheaper.
You can buy a generic one but then you'll have to buy an aux-input adapter to connect it. Check my sticky thread for information about aux-input adapters and compare those with the price of the sirrius unit. Did you check the price at www.onlinemazdaparts.com? Another option is to start a WTB thread and see if anyone has the module but doesn't need it anymore (ie they stopped subscribing to the service).
