The passenger side factory HID on my 06 MS6 is not working, even the projector lens + the plastic parts holding the D2S bulb became completely loose. I tried both the stock and my Philips 6000K bulb, neither lights up now.
The D2S connector seems normal, but in case it is connector failure, can I get it replaced without going to the dealer?
The driver side is fine for now, but the projector lens + bulb holding parts are a bit loose too. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
I read on one of the forums that Mazda uses cheaper shock components for the HID, does anyone know if it's serious enough to cause the stock HID parts to become loose?
Does anyone know how to repair HIDs or places that do? If so please let me know the steps + costs. The dealer voided my warranty after I put in my own 6000K bulbs and only quoted me $1500 per side without specific details on the problem.
