Wavy side sills

Hey, has anyone noticed how soft the door sills are and that the sufaces are not as flat as they once were?? The surface is very wavy and it looks terrible when compared to the smooth lines of the doors. I have a black 5 and it really stands out in the sun whe you look at the car from a profiled angle. I'll try to post a pic of this so you know what I mean.

Just checking if anyone else has noticed this. From the few that I've seen around town, they're all like that. My concern is that factory body parts should not be such low quality.

Every Mazda has that problem. Heck, ANY car with plastic parts held on with pressure clips will.
We've tried on a couple occasions to replace them under warranty but the brand new sills were no better.
Meh, it's a ~$20,000 car. Not a Bentley.
