This should be made a sticky. I don't have all the info yet but I will make sure that this first post contains all the necessary information. Searches for this info are great, but we need it all in one place so that when someone asks we can point them to a single thread. I am doing this because there are lots of options but the info on them is way to spread out.

Please help me finish this off by posting in this thread. Do not, I repeat DO NOT discuss the pros and cons of any of these options here. If you want to discuss that, start a new thread and post a link to it. I will make sure the link is referenced in this post. DO NOT ask what the best option is in this thread. Again, start a new thread for that. This thread is strictly for information about lowering options.

Megan Racing Springs

Drop advertised: 2" all around for v6, 2"/1.9" for 4cyl
MS6 actual drop: 2" front 1.75" rear after settling
Where to buy:
ebay for under $100
Comments:
Several MS6 owners are using these. Most claim the drop is about 1.75-2" which leads me to believe that it is even less on the 4cyl and 6cyl non-MS6s. However, the large drop means stock struts may not last very long. Search for photos and reviews on all Mazda6 sites before deciding. Comparisons between these and Eibach are that the rear is much more controlled due to the higher spring rate however the severe drop means you will scrape going over speed bumps and if you have more than one passenger you will bounce off the bump stops in the rear.

Great work chuyler1. Request for Stickyness granted. :D

This should help a lot of people get the info they are looking for.

After doing some more research I have updated the info on Megan springs for the MS6. Sources on Mazda 6 club . com have confirmed a 2" drop up front and a 1.75" drop in the rear.

MS6 strut upgrades: Koni Yellows. Available through RPM. Don't know any specifics, and I'm on super-slow satellite hookup on the far side of the earth right now so I can't search. I believe they also have another option listed but I don't recall just what it is.

IIRC Corksport offers MS6 AutoEXE coilovers. Price is exorbitant (of course!).

Updated 1st post with Eibach spring rates.

In regards to using them for the MS6...
Please note that they are progressive and the initial rate is less than the stock MS6 rates while the final rate is greater. The weight of the car may force the spring into a stiffer rate right off the bat but I can't confirm nor deny that. The sportline kit may provide a softer ride initially with some body roll but will stiffen up after initial turn-in and prevent further body roll similar to the stock setup. Stay away from the ProKit though...use the Sportline kit if you are determined to use Eibachs.

megan v6 and i4 springs are identical. there is no difference. the part numbers is simply a manufactures way to show where the sales goes.

Thanks man, I updated the first post. Now someone has to add some info about struts/shocks and coilover packages!!!

H&R for MS6

Street Unit has H&R springs listed for the MS6 with a different price and part number than the springs listed for the regular 6. This sticky just has H&R listed for the regular 6 and not the MS6. Does anyone know anything about the spring rates? Maybe a verification of the advertised drop?

README Mazda6/MS6 lowering options

Thanks for the info picked out some springs lowering the front 40mm an rear 33mm do not see a strut or shock application looking for adjustability , i was going for kyb agx or tokico alumina i am tired of the bouncing around on cut springs no one sells performance shocks for starlet in Jamaica or i do not know where to look

yea looking for some strut/shock upgrades i got H&R springs but want a better shock that dosnt require modification to install, koni yellows i heard you need to cut to make fit, seems that there are no real option for shock/ strut upgrades for the speed6 other then getting coilovers. anyone have any insight on this or know of any places to purchase replacment shocks/struts?

I'm not going to lie to you, I have done very little suspension work before im not familiar with a lot of things so this brought my attention. If you look at the image I have taken this object it looks like a ball joint I believe its directly below my tire. If I lowered it would I experience any problems such as rubbing or will this go threw my tire?
