W was98strat Member Sep 24, 2006 #2 It just pops off. a bit of gentle tugging should get it free of the frame

K Kid Red Member : Mazda 5 Sep 25, 2006 #4 It just comes off forward, but without verifying I would say that the door panel needs to be removed first. Though my memory is vague an I could be wrong about that. But it does literally just pop off when the door panel is removed.
