Homelink Mirror

I am trying to get the homelink/compass/autodim mirror for the MSP6. It seems that you can order this mirror as an option but they do not list one available as an accessory. They do list one for the regular Mazda 6. Does anyone know if I can use the regular 6's homlink mirror on the MSP6? Thanks.

Looks like you can. It says 'fits all Mazda 6 models'.

They sell Gentex mirrors, which is what most OEMs use. I installed an auto-dimming with compass (GENK5) a couple of weeks ago. They have the best prices for new mirrors.

Spend the extra $6 for the wire cover. It will make the install look factory.

HomeLink Mirror Installed Pics

Anyone with pictures of the HomeLink Mirror installed in a 2006 MS6 with step-by-step installation instructions? Is it pretty easy to replace the stock compass mirror by yourself or do I have to go back to the dealer?
