I suspect there has not been any testing on the CX-7 by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Is there any independent testing available to indicate how safe the CX-7 is various types of crashes ?
I'm sure IIHS will test the CX-7 in due time, but it usually takes them about 6months to a year to test a new vehicle.
You can also check the EuroNCAP and J-NCAP tests from Europe and Japan, but since the CX-7 isn't sold overseas to my knowledge, you probably won't find anything.
