If you want a good signal from your XM the antenna needs to be mounted on the roof. I put mine right next to the radio antenna and it doesn't look bad at all. Plus Delphi makes a hard wire kit that alows you to make all the conections in the back of the car radio. It uses an FM modulator in line with the radio antennaand is real easy to connect. You still tune the radio to a certain radio station (which ever you chose from the menu) and with this set up a strong radio signal will not "bleed thru" that band unlike just using the wireless FM modulator. I wish I had pics of the XM antenna on my roof but I don't have any thing at this point. Maybe someone else does though.
