Rustproofing on Brake Rotors

Just had the 5 rustproofed by a company called Krown, it is a national company in Canada similar to Ziebart and Rust Check. They sprayed onto winter steel rims and some made its way onto the rotors. After 300 km brakes still don't work right, lots of fade, pads seem glazed. Scheduled to go back in to see if they can clean it off, they indicated that they never had any problems before. Wonder if anyone has experienced similar issues with this company or other rustproofing compounds on brake system.

I use Krown and haven't had any issues with them. They do say a little bit of overspray may hit the rotors (especially on open alloys), but even if it happens it'll disappear after one or two stops. Are you sure they sprayed into the steel rim and rotors directly, because they shouldn't be doing that.

Another 150 km lots of rain and my wife's driving have cured the problem. It would seem that the rain probably removed some of the residue and all is well.
