install RSM!??

did anyone here install a RSM in their mazda3 Manual...... because work shop tell me can not get the Speed work in this model !

Plz anyone tell me...... i wait for the work shop for so long time !

I believe RSM = Rev/Speed Meter so I've moved to electronics

The VSS(Vehicle Speed Sense) wire can be found at the ECM under the hood(see pic for wire colors). For a Tach signal you can use the wire at any coil that is not green with a stripe. One of those two wires should work for you.

I take no responcibility for tha accuracy of my manuals(IE.. if you break your car it's your fault), always verify correct wires with a meter.

why would you need anything besides the stock tach? big tachs = rice. unless you race your car and its not street legal.
