does it look like i have too much negative camber in the front??? If so then i wanna take it back up there and make them fix it cuz honestly in the rain when i turn real fast i think i feel it slippin a little. I wanna know tho so that i can take it back up there. thanks
Front camber looks ok but it's unadjustable, so taking it up there would be pointless, anyway. The only thing that is adjustable is toe and maximum steering angle. Since we have Mac Struts in the front, lowering doesn't change much up there.
The camber specs change based on how much gas you have in the car (first time I've seen that), so I'll give you the specs for a 1/2 tank, just to be average. They don't change much, but they do change.
Front
Camber Angle: -.68 1
Caster Angle: 2.97 1
Total Toe: .08" .16"
SAI: 14
Cross Camber: Max 1.5
Rear
Camber Angle: -1.22 1
Total Toe: .08" .16"
Cross Camber: max 1.5
Thrust Angle: 0 .8
That's directly from section 2-11 of the factory service manual.
So, you are technically within most of the specs but your rear camber and toe are right on the hairy edge of the upper limits.
The skittishness in the rain is probably a combination of the effects of those two. If you can get your toe closer to zero, it would help. An alignment kit would definitely help.
Here's the before and after on mine:
I made modifications to my control arms to get the numbers to come in to where I wanted them but I wouldn't recommend that for anybody else. As soon as an alignment kit is out, I'm going to get one and set both my rears to -1.
