I have a 2020 CX5 and have issues with the infotainment system to freaking out and making random selections and changes all on its own. Today I narrowed it down to the touch interface since it only happens when stopped. Has anyone else had issues like this? I’ve cleaned the screen carefully but it’s still acting like someone is pressing all over the screen.

I have the same problem, usually shows up in warmer weather. I used to have the "beep" function enabled but turned it off. Thing sounds like a telephone sometimes when it makes it random jumps. I think somewhere on here some one has a procedure for fixing this, involves removing the screen to do a mod.

My 19 CX-5 was also out of the warranty period but it had been extended for that problem when I had it. My story is linked above. Hopefully you will have the same luck.
