New 2024 CX-5 Build and Upgrades

Hello all! I recently ordered a new 2024 Mazda CX-5 Sport Design Turbo and have an ETA delivery date of October 4th to my dealership. In preparation for the new vehicle I have been researching and getting ready to make some upgrades/install some accessories that seem "required" for the CX-5.

If you have any recommendations to the list below or things I may have overlooked and forgotten feel free to let me know.

4. Dongar Dash Cam Power Adapter - Dash Cam Power Adapter (10-Pin Type E) for Select Mazda

Sometimes the dealership will do a coating so you might want to inquire about that. Of course there's no knowing about the quality of what they do. But I'd ask them.

I definitely recommend the floor liners. I've had them going on 4 years. I also have the hood struts. There are 2 listings on Amazon of what look to be the identical struts from the same company. The ones I have are $11 cheaper. I don't see any difference & the ones I have listed below have been fine. See If you can find any difference.

We've always enjoyed window tint ASAP on a new car. We like the ceramic stuff for max heat rejection and doing the front windshield as well.

Highly recommend the window tint as suggested. I had the front windshield done too with a 90% tint so it isn't even noticable, but rejects heat. As for the JBL sub, your car has a standard Bose unit in the spare tire well. Will that unit work with the Bose system? If not I do recommend the sound deadening project be done on your sub (Guide - 2nd Generation CX-9: Bose subwoofer improvement). I liked the results with mine. You may also want to pick up the phone holder which mounts between the center vents. It works great. This is one example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned)

Unfortunately where I live in Canada only the top 3" of the windshield can be tinted. Anything more than that is illegal regardless of the tint even a 90%. No shop will even do it for you if you request it.

The JBL is compatible and I've looked that up already. The Bose subwoofer is just god awful even after messing around with all the settings I possibly could during my test drive in a Signature trim.

Will definitely look into the sound deadening project though as well and see how much is involved before dropping $800 on the JBL subwoofer.
