Nav stopped working (2016.5 CX-5)

Bought our 2016.5 new. 72K problem-free miles, 'til this happened last week:

Try removing and re-inserting the Nav SD Card.

Hmmm, maybe try cleaning the contacts on the SD card. That's all I know to suggest...

SD card probably went bad. It's a solid state hard drive and they do fail sometimes.

Pulled the SD card, downloaded Mazda Toolbox, and ran the diagnostics. Maps are out-of-date, but the card checks out fine otherwise. Maybe this is the push I need to install the CarPlay upgrade...
