I have a 2003.5 MSP 2.0l turbo, i just bought it off of a friend who had a new clutch put in it 2 days before the clutch stopped working, the car now just freewheels and when its getting towed you can put it in any gear you want without the clutch. i already checked the transmission, and it works fine, i took the clutch out and everything is in good shape, except for the contact point on the back of the pressure plate fingers where the throw out bearing presses, there is a big wear mark from only 2 days of use. anyone have any ideas? could it be a wrong clutch?
