Low volume when reading messages aloud on Android Auto?

I just got a 2023 CX-5 and am noticing that when I get a text and use the option to read it aloud, the volume for that output is really low. Same for the "would you like to respond" audio. I can't figure out how to control that volume. The music, navigation instructions, and call volume are all much louder

Try just turning the volume knob WHILE it's reading a text.
