Looking for Protege parts (shifter)

I just picked up a new protege about a week ago. I’m loving the car and have quite a few plans for it. But my biggest issue now is the shifter. I hate how sloppy it feels and how long the throws are.

I’ve seen people suggest TWM but I know they don’t make them anymore. Does anyone have one their willing to sell? Or is my best option the Megan racing SS or the ralco eBay special.

I have a protege 5 and had the same issue. The busings on the shift linkage wear out and cause the sloppiness. I pushed these bushings and took car of the issue.https://exileautoworx.com/shop/mazda-shifter-bushing-kit/ I also have the megan racing short throw and haven't had any issues.

I race a 1.8 es protege in road racing we use the Fidanza short shifter the bronze bushings from Cork Sport and the urethane bushing at the trans where the linkage bolts but we also took the rubber block where the linkage is bolted to the body in the back
and replaced it with a hard plastic block so there is no slop.
