The Toronto Protege Club (www.topclub.ca) would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us at the 11th Annual Meeting of Mazdas. The inaugural event was hosted 11 years ago by the Miataphiles and has been hosted by several local Mazda enthusiast clubs in subsequent years. This year the Toronto Protege club will be running the MOM2013 event!

And without further ado, here is the 2013 MOM Announcement:

August 25th 2013 @ Bruce Mills Conservation Area - Sunny Acres Picnic Site

The MOM 2013 website (www.meetingofmazdas.ca) is up with the signups, sponsors and scheduling/details! Details will be added as they become available, both to the official MOM 2013 website and to this thread. The website is will be available for everyone to register to indicate their intention to attend MOM 2013. For now we just wanted to get the word out about the date and location so that everyone can mark it in their calendars.

We would appreciate if one or more of the Officers / Admins on your board would take the lead for consolidating any questions which can be directed to the thread at the Toronto Protege Club forum, or alternatively by PM

You can count on lots of activities for this Family event, including Food, a Show n' Shine Competition with several categories (to be announced), Games, Prizes and Giveaways! Food will be done like last year, and will be provided by the Toronto Protege Club, which will include BBQ and drinks - Burgers (Veggie and Meat), Hotdogs (Veggie and Meat), Condiments, Water and Pop. This year's event will have a $5 fee per car in addition to the park admission fee. This $5 entry fee will help cover the cost of running the event. With this entry fee all food and drinks will be provided for you and your family.

If any of your club sponsors would be interested in helping out the event with prizes, please let us know via the Toronto Protege Forum.

Email correspondence will be up shortly

Hope to see you all out to enjoy MOM2013 brought to you by the Toronto Protege Club.

P.S... and this is important:
I know that with all events there are their shining moments, and some not so much with that said, last year there were more hiccups then normal to run an event this size by a small number of individuals. This year we pledge to alleviate those hiccups and have a plan in place to make sure we return this event back to its luster! We appreciate everyone that came out last year, and hope you come out again this year because its gonna be a great one!
