I want to replace the head unit on my son's 2013 Bose system. It is one with the display screen but I do not think there is a conversion kit to take the factory screen and use it for an after market Apple Car Play. I believe only the 2013 Bose had a screen. The 2012 was a Bose but no screen.
I do not want to disrupt the amps(s?) or speakers. I have selected a double din Sony unit and a dash replacement kit for the Sony to fit. I will run the Bose with the Sony pre-amp signal. Has anyone done this? What wiring harness did you use? The window sticker says it has 10 speakers and the wiring kits I have seen accommodate 4. Any tips here?
