Hey, Alejo, can we even have ricers in Miami? I think we've got a different breed... Blue Sky food by the pound Pollo Imperialers is a mouthful though. Arrozitos maybe?

Turbo hype + Turbo lag - Turbo power = VTEC
The MSP doesn't really "hesitate". It's just unsure of it's movement.

Now for the fun stuff!
Performance mods are: Apex 3in open j-pipe, Injen, H2O Intercooler Sprayer (I swear it makes a slight difference), Kartboy shifter bushings/exhaust hangers, Corksport SS Clutch line, NSN Motorsports Throttle Body Spacer, Turbohoses Aluminum Hardpipes, BoostSciences Dual Stage Boost Controller, DSM AFC v. 2, Turbohoses SMIC, Front and Rear EBC Dimpled and Slotted Rotors, EBC Yellow Stuff pads, AWR MTX Motor Mounts, Street Unit Intake Manifold, QTP Electric Cut-out, AWR trailing arms, GT Spec V brace, Evolv Rear Sway Bar Brackets, MAM Exhaust Manifold, TWM Short Throw Shifter, MAM 60mmTB
Mods that have nothing to do with making the car quicker are: Alpine CDA-9855, JL Audio 12w3, Stewart Warner Boost Gauge with way more boost than I'll EVER use, HKS TT, AEM WB O2 Sensor

Arrocero is the driver and Maduros is the girl wearing her hair gelled to the side of her face that thinks her b/f's cavalier really has 400hp and the muffler he put on her 1990 Duster adds 20hp. The drive from FIU to Coconut Grove always had some "interesting" cars.

Well, not something a ricer said but still damn funny. Yesterday my boss and another of my coworkers were outside and they noticed my car back in the lot finally. They both complimented me on my new lower grill... I politely informed them that was my intercooler...

not something to brag about but yall can rag on me for this but my gf used to call my car a ricer /cry because the car was rediculously loud with the megan racing catback and mam mid pipe and obx header....as of right now i am just running the obx header and that alone is quiet....it gives the car a nice throaty sound like it actually has some power....lol

Not a story of a something a ricer saed but did. Guy I know lives in town here and has a 70 Mustang Mach 1 all set up for the drag strip. Thing's got all the goodies to make it fast, a blown, alcohol-injected (through 3 throttle bodies) 516 ci Ford crate motor. Pushes high 7s in the quarter. While cruising on the interstate at about 60 mph, a kid in a Civi Si pulls up and buzzs him trying to get a rise. So Smith smashes the gas and breaks the rear tires loose (on the interstate @ 60 mph) and literally leaves the Civic in smoke.

Ricer: This thing got a turbo?
Me: Yeah
Ricer: Is it fast?
Me: It's pretty quick, fun to drive
Ricer: You been to a track yet?
Me: No still want to do a few things to it before I go embarass myself
Ricer: (Points to his neon (not srt-4)) I ran 13's last wkend
Me: (Laughing to myself) Oh yeah what have you done to it?
Ricer: Catback Exhaust
Me: Cool (Pump clicks to a stop)
Ricer: Wow that was fast
Me: Yeah it was half full already
Ricer: (Noticing my total) $19 that's really cheap to fill up it cost me about $40 to fill up

2 nights ago at the track, after a I spanked a Lancer, the guy asked me to pull over to chat for a sec, and hes all serious like. I got no issues. He pulls over next to one of his buddies that was watching the race. Right after the car are pulled over he askes me if its the original motor. I laigh and am Like umm yeah, its moded a bit but its still the original motor. He says "No!" I pop the hood, and go look for yourself.

Check out the spanking, race #2

I wouldnt call them "Ricers" but it was funny as Hell when he refused to beleve it was the original block, a Protege is not a Civic.

Thanks, you should of seen how pissed the Saab Turbo got after his ass got handed to him.

He wouldnt slow to say "Hey good race", or give thumbs up or hang louse. He pulled his hand brake half way down the section to slow down after the race for no reason making crazy noise, I even thought hhe was out of control for a sec before I realized he was just being a Dickhead. He kept it pulled while he floored it arround the corner and left the track. What a sore loser!

You get better the more time you spend at the track. Just make sure you know how to Stage before you go so as not to look like a newb at the line, and have fun.
