i was under the impression they only made a SC for the IS

which makes more power the turbo or sc

turbos can generally make more power as they can realize higher boost levels. but one advantage that superchargers have is that if they are roots style s/c's, they will give full boost as soon as you crack the thottle. i have one on my 4runner...soon as i punch it, i get 6.5 psi, though it does drop to about 4 psi close to redline.

The engine in the IS300's are the same as the engines in the Supras (just detuned, and no turbos). People swap Supra engins into IS300's all the time cause they bolt right up.

I know the engine in the IS is the same as the n/a supra engine, but are the n/a and twin turbo engines the same? i always thought they were different???
