My Dad's RSX-S/My MSP
My dad's rims and rear upper strut bar finally came in, so here are some pics of it with my Mazdaspeed.
He bought the RSX Type-S about a month ago, and 6 days later he had his AEM short ram intake, DC Sports header, Greddy SP cat-back, Neuspeed SS, Front(and now rear) strut bars, JDM valvecover and plug wire cover, tinted the windows, 2" H&R lowering springs, and Axis NE-0 17x7 rims with Khumo 205/40's... Did I mention he is 55 years old?? He's such a pimp!! ![]() And here's one of mine, just because... He actually got me into the import scene when I was 15. He bought a '93 Civic, and started looking for rims...I picked up on it and started reading Super Street, and other mags trying to soak up info.
Honestly, My car still feels faster. There's nohting like feeling that turbo spool up to throw you back in your seat Besides, my DP isn't on yet. I figure once that's on, I'll take him for sure. I might be close though, he can drive pretty good. I took his car out tonight and scratched 3rd gear very easy. That thing has some balls behind it...It just does it so smooth you don't feel it. **Wait a minute, I own an MSP...I can't give another car credit!! Screw the Type-S!! MSP ALL THE WAAAAYYY!!!! ![]() It'll be a god race

The white car is his '93 Civic. Its got I/H/E, lowered, 15x6" Konig Tuners, Tint, Tsunami wing and front lip, & some little stuff...its an auto though so he didn't want to put a turbo or anthying...just a cruiser
It's got around 250,000 miles on it.You all saw pics of my red civic... We both upgraded pretty nicely, huh?? I wouldn't call it a mid-life crisis, he's always been into cars. He's just getting his feet wet with the Imports now. He's owned a lot of nice classic cars as well. He's got a '31 Ford Model A sedan right now too.

Get the JDM Type-R headlight, or just paint it yourself, it would look so much better.

He won't paint them..he's not into half assing stuff. Either it says Honda on it, or he keeps it stock. I think they look pretty cool, but here in Sacramento, we have a lot of ricers, and a lot of them have painted their headlights or bought knock-offs. He doesn't want to fit in that group, so he's gonna wait until he gets a good deal on some real ones. I tried to get him to buy some Recaro Type-R seats, but $1600 shipped is a little too steap. Keep in mind he's barely had this car a month.
