I watched some of your videos... Um... You need better brakes man, with a car that fast, you NEED a BBK. Trust me, best investment I ever made.
Yea Maxx, I'm also getting a quote from a German company that does these people's Rallye Car brakes. i want some 14" front brakes, and maybe 13" for the rear, but it all deppends on price and if they can make my E-brake work for inspection purposes. also in the very near future and also according to the price the shops give me, they are going to work on my fenders to run on wider wheels and tires, i want to run like 265-40-18's in the rear and 255-40-18's up front with Racing lighter wheels..

Thanks man, this time is going to take me longer to do my build but i want to do it right from the first time, plus i'm going to invest a nice amount of money again and also that takes time as well. but i'm pretty sure it will be again well worth the money, blood sweat and tears... I can't wait to see how is going to come out and what numbers we can finally achieve !!!

No need to be Jealous bro. I'm just Trying to keep this Protege dream alive. most of the people give up and move to other platforms, but i want to keep representing all of the people that owns a regular Protege to a Mazdaspeed here In Europe where we are even more rare, not to mention i'm the only one Nation wide with one..

Don't bother with the "wide body" fenders. It looks UBER dumb. The brakes though are a must. I'm running 13.1" directionally vented rotors and six piston calipers (i think you've seen them?) it's a one off Wilwood setup for the protege. The 13" rotors on the rear I found to be too much. There's not nearly enough weight in the back to make them even close to effective, even with EBFD... Some nice rotors and grippy pads out back are more than sufficient, ubnless you add another 8-900 lbs over the back wheels!

I'am not doing a wide body kit, these people does something to the fenders that you can use wider wheels and tires. you can't barely see it from outside..

the REAL question is, what kinda tires do you plan on using? 600hp on a fwd is going to have a shitload of wheel spin....

You can see my 0-150 MPH video on streetfire.net and tell me if you notice or see any traction problems and that's with 474whp thats is equal to 546 HP... i'm also using cheap tires Nankangs, i know if i put something like Nittos i'll have way more traction.... i do have also in mind i'll be jumping from 546 to 690 HP that are around 600whp

Ah... It's the stock HP's that do it. The MSP's lower perch in the rear is 1.2" higher than regular HP's right from tokico.
