What about a bulb adapter for the H7 factory bulbs to the HID ones? If it comes with bulb adapters that is a great deal.

If the halogen H7 bulbs plug directly to the stock connector, then you don't need a spacer. If you have an adapter between the halogen bulb and the stock connector then you need a spacer on the HID bulb.

Mazda 3 all need the spacer and we include them with each H7 HID bulbs.

Here's what I mean...this is from a Mazda 3:

First is the H7 HID bulb with the spacer. (the HID bulb is still in the protective case) and below is the stock halogen H7 with stock adapter that needs to be removed. The spacer fills the void created by the adapter.

Yes, the CX-7 H7 bulbs requires a spacer as well. The stock H7 bulbs use a spacer, can you reuse that spacer for the HID bulbs, or do you send new spacers? I think when I did my swap I checked that and I would have had to modify the stock spacers to get them to work.

You could use the stock spacer but it will be messy and you'll have to remove a lot of stuff from it. That's why all our H7 HID bulbs in our kit come with spacers. Mazda owners use them and other just don't but that fixes the problem you are having.

Email me at support@xenonexpert.com and I'll set you up. I have some spares

Next time though, you should buy your kit from us

Might just have to finally order myself a kit. Stock halogen bulbs suck at night.

Once you go HID...you can never go back to halogen. After getting used to 3 times the light output, when you drive a vehicle that has halogens it seems you have candles in front that car
