Thanks man!
ok. thought it was like a rare paint type ... thanks for the help !!!
It is, sorta. The 'rarest' part is finding someone who can match or blend it. Even if the shops all mix the exact same formula, no two spicy's are the same, even from the factory. I've discovered every spicy has a very slightly different amount of mid coat, and it seems like on some cars the base coat is more yellow than mine, which is more salmon-ish-red. This is making it kinda frustrating to refinish panels. I've tried all the variants of the code, and they just get worse (Last one they gave me the base coat was WHITE. Try blending white into a orange fender lol.) I've still got 85% factory paint but the rest all slightly differs even from itself. Not being able to find a real match is increasingly frustrating.
My bad for letting this thread die. I was so busy for a couple months that I forgot to enjoy the car. I got it in my head I shouldn't let the car hit 100k so I stopped driving it, only to realize that having a driveable msp is essential for happiness, lol. So I drove it a bunch before I tucked her away for the winter today.
I don't want to say too much about future plans at the moment, I've still got a lot of thinking to do but I will say I'm on the fence between doing an oem+ style "build" or just doing my own thing and going all out. If I do go my own way though, think all metal custom wide body, probably air suspension, potentially a raised motor with some healthy upgrades, and I'll probably wrap the car.
Finally got to wrapping my interior bits, Avery matte gunmetal-ish on the door lock bezels, arm rest bezels, shifter area, and center of the radio bezel thinger. And for the outside strips it's Avery brushed aluminum with custom printed tint on top. Took me four years to figure out what I wanted on those, lol. Pretty satisfied.
