This is a great idea, I'm going to try it this summer after I get some new tires in 5k miles. I will likely take mine off the car to do it. I have a small garage and a sloped driveway, so there will be some difficulty there. I definitely want to do the emblems too, especially the steering wheel emblem, cause that damn thing will catch the light and blind you while driving. My CX-5 is white, so a black hood might look good too.
