mazda 6 rims on 02 P5 filliment issues?

Hey guys....I plan on buying a set of mazda 6 rims 17" to put on my car

can someone please confirm if the 17" Mazda 6 rims will fit on the p5 running 205 50 17 tires...I live in NY so I refused to go with 45 series tires...

Based on what I have read on the forums...the rims bolt right up but they are heavier than the stock 16" rims that come with the car. some people have stated that they needed spacers while others have not.. I am confused and do not wish to use spacers. I have stock suspension and will not be lowering the car.

Can someone please provide input on this for me? Thank you!

It will bolt right on, but that is a huge tire and gonna look rediculous on a non lowered car.

well working in nyc leaves me with no option but to go with 50 series tires lol....so I shouldnt experience any rubbing issues with that size tire nor would I need spacers correct?

if you are worried about a rough ride, stay with the stock 16" rims and get 205/50-16 tires.

not worried about a rough ride...just wanted to confirm that the rims would bolt on with using spacers or experiencing rubbing issues.
