this show could be so awesome i hate the fact that they use lengths its the gayest thing it takes the whole point of having a faster car out of the show i don't understand why they can't put 2 evenly matched cars so that it all comes down 2 the driver.

The RX-7 was nice though lol

you dont loose your car...you get it back. its staged.

I know cuz im in Orlando...where a few of those episodes are shot at Orlando speed world. and a few guys said they got the car back. infact theres always a call for people to go on the show...to be those guys in the background.

not only that...beside the fact that I dont like drag racing. they dont use lights (gay) and they dont use any kind of sensor to see who crosses the line 1st (gay). and they use "lengths." just some dude with a radio at the end. WTF? This isnt the 60s....make us american sound like hickville who just care about drag racing. common. and youre right about the host....annoying wanna be tough guy.

gayest thing is car length. "I'll give you 2 car length" WTF? and the negotiations just solidify my point that drag racing is dumb.

Fuelslut guys talk about it all the time becuase they are on the show all the time. but they confirmed it was fake. My friend was at one of the taping and the contestant was even couched on what to wear and say. There are rumors that this season must might be the real deal. but its confirmed that the previous season was absolutely fake.

I understood later why they don't have lights its cause they use that stupid lengths thing which really defeats any purpose of claiming I have the faster car then wanting to have a headstart. If people get to start ahead then they can be infront of the lights so they figured the second best thing use the gay host who knows he might get a date.

You have to realize that this show isn't about legal drag racing. It's televised street racing complete with real hustling. This is how a lot of hotrod guys have made extra cash. My AutoX VP is an older hotrod guy and he made more money hustling at illegal street races than he did at his actual day job. Just like pool sharks...or poker players...they hustle which means sometimes they don't go all out from the start. I actually enjoy the show because it isn't always about who has the fastest car, but who plays the game the best. SCCA already does something similar to this for autocross calle Pro Solo. It's pretty cool to autoX heads up.
