    How-to: Install GHL Turboback

Im almost done with the GHL How-to. I just have to add pictures, but really its self explainitory so i might not. I hope i covered everything. This is for the weekend warrior that cant remove the S pipe like 03black did (not removing turbo or mani). I couldnt do it that way, im an average tuner, not a mechanic so i think most can relate to this. If i missed anything i aplogize. I say set out a good 2 days (not 48 hrs but u get the idea) to take your time and do this right. I would have done it in one whole day but i was writing things down for this and i dont have a garage. and it rained and snowed. Im still not done (i have to put the catback portion on but i included it in the how-to.

Hope everyone appreciates it, and helps out some people. Its not an overly hard install if you have some wrenching skills. As with any project things can and do go wrong it happends (like snapped manifold bolt , damnit). But if you plan for the time for this you will be good to go.

Its in word format. This is my thankyou to GHL for their great service and if i can sway a few orders their way, yippie for me.!

oh, and big thank you to my wife who let me spend many rainy nights covered in coolant and pb buster and then let me get near her!

I already found this one, but I want to remove the whole turbo assembly in order to get some parts powder coated...

Anybody knows where I could find a good How-To?

    Thanks

Really it's not that hard. Used a shitload of PB Blaster. remove charge/intake pipes from turbo. Unbolt spipe from remainder of exhaust,
disconnect coolant line. Disconnect vacuum line from WGA. Unbolt exhaust manifold. remove

Weird, I was able to download the .doc file today...

However the torques specs aren't specified...

    - For the Manifold are they the same as a non-turboed FS?
    - What about the s-pipe?

I do know that search works!

But I wasn't able to find the sequences (in which order to tighten the manifold bolts/studs) nor the torques specs for the s-pipe...
