I have one set of JIC FLT-A2's brand new in a box for a killer deal if you want em.

It's that or the Tein SS, which is so entry level it's ridiculous. Coilovers will not provide you with the greatest ride quality either. Please keep that in mind.

    Thanks,
    Rishie

ARD MP5 - what would you suggest for a 3rd gen (2002) lx protege sedan? I want to keep the comfortable ride and drop about an inch or so.

If you have some sort of a stiffer suspension then you really shouldn't mess with any of the universal coilovers aside from ground control ..
Then when we get realistic, chance are that you don't want to pay 350+ -400 for them.
A good solution for the second gen would be a set of kyb gr-2 shocks .. or if you have 400 bucks I guess the 3rd gen tokico's, but it's not necessary . Then you can stuff on a set of Intraxx springs or BG springs , Eibach or similar coil springs.

    Skunk2 Coilovers http://www.mazda3online.com/product_...products_id=73

$350 shipped. I'll look into it, can probably do better than that even.

Yeah they are really bad for our cars a lot of people have had bad problems withthose coilovers, If your looking for good springs go with: eibachs, teins, or tanabe springs they are awsome quality and if you have money to spend for coilovers go for groundcontrols and if you really really have a lot of money to spend go for the tein coilovers or the JIC coilovers.

if you go with a universal coil ..
only go with ground controls .. that's it ...
