Mazda 3 (soon, hopefully)
I've seen pics of the mazda3 on cardomain.com and most of them have rear tail lights that look like euros. When I went to the dealership today, I noticed that they are mostly red on the tail lights.

here's an example of what I mean.

are these different models or something? I'm a noob to these forums... I don't know much, just trying to learn some new things.

Yeah they are two different models. I can't remember what the model names are, but basically the 2.0 powered model comes with the red and the 2.3 powered model comes with the euro style. Don't quote me on that I could be completely off on that. Basically I think it boils down to the appearance package which comes standard on the 2.3 powered model. All I know is when and if I get one I'm gonna be trading someone for their red tails.

Your first pic = Canadian-spec Mazda3 GT sedan with GFX package
Your second pic = Canadian-spec Mazda3 sedan (GX, GS, and GT without GFX package)

Both Canadian-spec Mazda3 Sport trims have black taillights that look similar to your first pic.

The first pic is of my car a 2004 Mazda 3s Black Sedan US spec. The second is a Mazda 3i US spec. If you get the Mazda 3s in America, you will get the euro style lights you are looking for

whats the i stand for?

Just like Mazda Canada uses GX, GS, & GT for the various trim names, i & s are the trim names used by Mazda USA.

But the exact features from a US-spec Mazda3i is different than say a Canadian-spec Mazda3 GS (which is why it's so important to put locations in profiles).

I never said they were Canadian. I just said their taillights are equal to the various Canadian-trims.
