    falken azenis sprots...

They only make them in a 225 45 17. ill they fit my mp3 without rubbing issues? I love the tires I'm running em on my 88 merkur in a 205 50 15. P.S. I'm runnin 45mm offset rota tarmacs.

It won't fit. They are way too tall.

what about 215/45/16 for 16x7 wheels? or would a 205/45/16 tire be better?

    too tall?

    too wide you mean?

on their site they say the 225's are for a 7.5" rim, and the 215's are for a 7" rim. I'm no tire expert, but I got my doubts that a 225 will fit without rubbing.

225/45-17 is like a full inch bigger than stock
    (25" vs. 24")
your speedo and odometer will be fubar

on stock wheels, you might rub inside.
so you would have to get a 7.0" +45 wheel to keep everything evenly spaced

    Makes sense . Can I get away with a 215 45 17??

215/45 is not so bad. only 1/2" bigger. Same size as on the Mazdaspeed Protege.
