Hi I was putting on a new ebrake button when i realized it was a little too firm. I tried screwing off but it was tight so i applied a little pressure while screwing off and once the button was off the rod it was threaded onto fell through the e brake handle. It is now stuck up, but i loosened the cable so i could forcefully put it down. what do i do to get my ebrake to work normally again?
rod within mazda protege handbrake has become loose and unattached. ebrake stuck HELP
