Pandora problems

:
Mazda 2016 CX-5
Have had a bunch of issues with the pandora app in my CX 5 since new. Constantly dropping BT. However no issue at all with aha or stitcher. Here's mazdas response.
Terry,

Thank you for contacting the Mazda Hands Free Support.

We apologize that you're experiencing issues with the Pandora feature. What we can advise, is to verify Pandora is on the most current version, uninstall/re-install Pandora from your device, power cycle your device, and test another device to the system. If the issue still persists, restore the system back to its factory settings. The current software version in the system is 55.00.753. If the issue still persists after the trouble shooting procedures, contact your local Mazda dealership for further testing and trouble shooting to help identify the issue. Here are the instructions on how to restore the system.

(restoring the system)
1. On the home screen of the vehicle select the "settings" tab
2. In the settings menu select the right arrow on the very top where you have all the options
3. Then select the "system" tab
4. In the system menu scroll down and select "restore factory setting" or "factory reset"
5. While the system is rebooting go into your device and delete Mazda
Note: When performing a factory reset it will delete all saved settings and all paired devices.

If you have any other questions or need further information, feel free to contact the Mazda Hands Free Support Line at 1-800-430-0153 Monday-Friday 7am-8pm CT.

Thank you,

Call them. I got through to some bluetooth "specialist" Explained like you said and got a # to get it replaced. Just made the call 20 minutes ago. 800 420 0153. I did have mine in to the dealership 2 times to complain and 1 appointment for them to look obviously they find nothing in a drive around the block. Good luck.

The whole thing disconnects i have to shut the phone and it down and start all over. Not good going down the fwy at 80 messing with that. It is never in the same spot or even area or always the same phone so it is for sure the system.

Ok, my problem is different. Everything Bluetooth related workes perfectly, phone, aha , skitcher. My only issue is Pandora. Only when using Pandora does BT get dropped

I have the same problem, bluetooth audio works fine but if i use the pandora app at looses connection within a couple minutes everytime

So far so good with a recent update to 760. I did have one problem today after the update where I could hear my music in the background while in a phone call. It sounded like the caller was playing music while on the phone. I paused the BT music (Amazon Music) and it stopped. I will test further to see if it happens on all my calls. But... for the Pandora disconnects, I think it has improved so far.

went to the dealer yesterday to get the recall fixed asked about getting my infotainment updated to the newest version and he asked if i was having any problems and I told him about the Pandora app issue and he told me Mazda sent out a release to use regular Bluetooth and not the app as they don't have a fix for it.

Yea that sounds about right Pandora works perfectly when not using the App but streaming Iphone BT. But using the App it will play a song or two OK but then will play about 5 seconds of next song and then drop connection. I have to switch back to the APP to change Pandora channels
