2016 CX9 Owners Thread

I just got the reminder to update Sirius XM Radio... I couldn't believe it. These people want almost $19/month for their service? Are they out of their mind? I was actually willing to pay $3.99-$4.99, but $18something? HELL NO!

I'm planning to let my trial expire as well. I can see how some may like it, but lots of ads and worse reception than terrestrial radio (for my area), not worth it to me.

So this just happened...I have no idea how. My guess it was at very low speed..Anyone have anything similar happened? And more importantly...know of a repair method?

Negotiate firmly. Their variable cost for each customer is close to zero, just a bit for billing.

Wait until they telephone you. Let your service expire. Or, call just before expiration and tell them you want to cancel. "Cancel" is the magic word. You'll get to a customer retention specialist who gets paid a bonus for each customer they keep. They have discounts, deep discounts, they can offer. Keep saying that you'll cancel, and they'll dig deeper into their discount basket. The discount will be for a limited time, so keep track of the dates. Don't let it bounce up to full price at the end of the discount period. Just before the discount period expires, go through the whole dance again.

That's pretty deep. The only way that you can repair it is to take that wheel off, sand those scratch part, apply epoxy putty to cover that deep scratch and then refinish it to match the hypersilver color.

@integroid - Thanks!! much for your feedback , I am thinking if I decide to pull the trigger on Mazda ...will go the lease route to avoid any challenges w.r.t to long term ownership. One more thing- the 3rd row ventilation appears to be a challenge ...would like to get your take on it

Sorry, I just saw this. I used the 3rd row maybe 2-3 times in my MDX. I dont think anyone complained about it in the MDX but it was mostly kids in the 3rd row so they are likely not to complain. My kids wanted to ride in the 3rd row during the test drive in the CX9 and they absolutely loved it and didnt have one complaint about anything and it was close to 100 degrees on that day. I just made a deal for a Machine Gray Signature CX9 and it should be delivered in the next week or two. Still sitting at the port:)

I have the 6 month plan @ $25 (+taxes and fees). Tell them you want that or you are cancelling. I've been on this promotion for almost 2 years.

damn that looks sweet for a Touring trim , that's what I like about the new CX-9, you can get even the Sport trim and it still looks damn nice,

I'm digging the non-chrome skirt in the front bumper bottom edge. so far i've seen mostly GT and Signatures with the chrome skirt front bumper edge on the road.

We almost went white, our 2010 CX-9 was white and we loved that color. But then Soul Red caught our eye this time...
