Occasional grinding under hard acceleration

Mazda CX 5 2.2 DE Akera AT AWD

So my wife owns a 2015 CX5 2.2l diesel akera.
AWD. Auto.

Today I found out that every now and then under hard acceleration there is a grinding noise.
I have heard it now twice. But my wife tells me this happens often.

Best way I can describe the noise is like grinding a manual gears, except it's quiter and I think coming from the engine bay?
It only happens for a second or 2 then disappears.

Any ideas??

I don't have one, so I can't help. But no body else has a guess about his grinding noise?

I would be taking into dealer. Something in the driveline? This is not a common problem and likely the reason no one has responded.

Kedis82ZE8, I have the same noise and I am about to get my car checked next week. Did your dealer find anything?

Perhaps it might be something related to the DIESEL? Since we have never heard of this issue in the gas engines>?

Diesel Regen maybe?
