Hello,

I'm new to the forum but have read some great tips and advice on here so thought I'd share my latest find. I've been (im)patiently for my favorite manufacturer of side window defectors, Weather Tech. What makes them so good that over the years I've bought them for about 5 different vehicles? They fit inside the window channels so that not only do you not have tape stuck to your car trim or paint but also leave a much cleaner, integrated look.

I've submitted many of their submission forms over these last year's to no avail.

However, I was fortunate to stumble across a find similar in-channel design deflectors on eBay.

I was concerned that these would be of lacking quality somehow but after receiving and installing them, these feel top notch and I would strongly recommend to others looking.

What I received were from a company called Team HEKO with a very impressive site.

I've also seen good images of them from an Amazon listing

I have now been using these for a week and they are very good quality and function as good as they look!

I'm hoping this might help someone else that have been looking for this style as well.

Thanks for the heads up! I've also submitted several requests to WeatherTech because I've bought their mats, floor liners, hood (bug) guards and window deflectors/shades for years. I suppose the CX-9 was too low volume for them to offer the product??? These look like a nice alternative...I may give them a shot.

BTW, in addition to the FloorLiners, I also have WeatherTech's LampGard headlight protection film. It was $55 and includes pre-cut film for the headlights and foglights and I've been very happy with it.

I know the OP started this thread about in-channel visors, but in case others who visit this thread want to check out another very affordable and quality option, you might want to look at WellVisors:

I have the WeatherTechs for my Protege5 and have been underwhelmed. They rattle when the window is cracked and I don't like that the windows rub against it when rowing up and down. We have the WellVisors for our Mazda5 and LOVE it. The price is about 50% of what the WeatherTechs cost and the quality is great. If they had them for the P5, I'd swap in a heartbeat and get rid of the WeatherTechs.
