Need Alignment When Installing New Tires?

Mazda CX-5 2015 GT AWD
My 2015 has 21,500 km on it. The existing tires show no signs of uneven wear. However, the tire store "recommends" I have the alignment done with the new tire installation.

I have the feeling they sell the tires for a very low price intending to make up the profit on the sale with extra warranties and services. Is this alignment really recommended when the existing tires appear to be wearing evenly?
 
The only thing that's adjustable on a CX-5 suspension is toe. If you've got no signs of abnormal wear on your current rubber, I would pass on the alignment.
 
You must drive on very bad roads or drive aggressively to only get 21+km on original tires. However: If the vehicle runs true and does not pull and the tires are wearing evenly and show no signs of cupping ot irregular wear then, I see no reason to spend money
on an alignment. Ed
 
Here in the US, Discount Tire is one of the largest tire stores in the country - over 900 stores in 30 states. The don't have alignment gear and cannot do an alignment. I think that's your answer to whether an alignment is generally needed with new tires (unless you have an obvious alignment problem).

Why would Discount Tire publish a 15% off coupon for wheel alignments if they don't have alignment equipment?

With the cost of good alignment machines, that makes sense.

Given you drove 21k km, I'd skip the alignment and get it done with the next set. I can generally get 50k miles out of a set and do an alignment with that.

Most likely, they are the same company. One is the online store and the other, is the retail store.
Their is a warehouse as well, called discountiredirect.com. From here I buy my tires, they have free shipping.

Not sure why having a similar name would imply that they are the same company. They are not. Neither is an online store as you say, both refer to their retail stores. You can learn about both at these links. No relationship.

What this statement means then?
This one is taken from the discounttiredirect.com.
"If you live in an area where there are no Discount Tire/America's Tire stores, we can ship your tires and wheels directly to one of our 800 qualified installers."
