Mazda CX-5 and Mazda 6 Win best in segment accolades

Very good! The 6 comes with the 2.5 in manual form? If it does, why not the CX5, that would be an interesting combo (at least in Europe)

I test drove one (diesel), lovely car, better cabin, full arm rest and paddles on the auto. Would have got it if it but my wife loves the height of the CX5, much easier to get our daughter in to her seat in the back.

The same height makes it easier for elderly grandparents to get in and out which really comes in handy if you want to get them out and about.

Very true, I doubt any future car will be lower than my current CX-5.

The ease for getting in and out plus the seat comfort was my major reason for buying. I had to slum it in a Passat taxi a couple of weeks ago and I nearly fell into the passenger seat when getting in as it felt so low. (I'm 6ft 1 inch). On the CX-5 my hip lines up nicely with the seat cushion for getting in. My knee troubles are over since I got my CX-5(yippy)
