2011 Mazda 2,1.5L,Auto trans. 49k Miles Got new K&N air filter on the way.any other ideas?Just got it about 3 weeks ago from a dealership.Only got 7yr/100,000 mi.powertrain warranty.I hear the fuel filter is in the tank,AAAHHHHH!!Should I be sorry I got it?

Probably something simple. These are great little cars.

Did you check the spark plugs?

+1 for spark plugs, there was another forum member who was getting a misfire at idle around 50k due to spark plugs

Check the maf and spark plugs. Make sure everything is good and tight.

My 14 has just turned a little over 20k km on the odo, and has just thrown a P0300 OBD2 code. I'm hoping it is something simple like a spark plug, but we will see...

I went through this right at 49k. Plugs were the cause.
