Just another yellow P5 build...

Cylinder head thoroughly cleaned, valves lapped by hand, and new valve stem seals.

Was working on a heat shield for the turbo today. So far I like where it's going. I saw that the later hiboost kits came with them to shield their intake pipes from the heat. Mine doesn't cover the cold side of the turbo, which should be better. Angle grinder skills.

Picked up a bottle, some hose, and some fittings to make an oil catch can.

And also picked up some zfr6f-11 plugs and supposedly, a s/c millenia pcv valve from autozone.

Really good progress man! Is the heat shield gonna have any bends or just stay flat like that?

Hey man. So far I don't know yet. If anything, it would be a 30-45 degree bend on the front left (driver) corner. But I'm afraid to commit.

You have 20mm wheel spacers all around right? I know the front can use a thicker spacer but how much does it push the back wheels out?

I only run 20s in the front. The back is stacked 12 and 5 to make 17. It's decently flush, but I'm so low with very little stretch, which makes it need alot of camber not to rub. So it's kind of sunk. I don't really know how to answer that effectively. It's not as flush as you are.

Got my act stage 1 clutch with msp flywheel today.

And also put the bend in the heat shield I was working on. It looks much better. Just needs to be stripped and painted again.
