Bought a 2012 Mazda6 with 62k miles 2 months ago. No issues at all until about a month ago. For no apparent reason, the panic alarm starts going off. It lasts 20-30 sec before turning off on its own. At first it only happened a couple of times a week. But lately it happens more frequently, about 4 or 5 times a week. Of course I took it to the dealer and they were unable to re-create the problem so there was nothing they could do. My next option is to just leave it at the dealer until it happens while it's there but I'd really like to try to fix it myself if possible. I've read online where it could be anything from a bad battery to a faulty remote key sensor (behind the glove box).
