I recently purchase my p5 with 78K on it and it seems like I have a sticky caliper thus I am upgrading to mazda 6 brakes just for the front for the time being. I love this forum as it has tons of useful info available. I recently purchased some used calipers and brackets from a junk yard from an 08 Mazda 6. My understanding in order to make this work is that I need the following:
1) calipers and brackets
2) 08 MZ6 brake pads
3) 08 Mz6 Rotors
Can someone confirm this is correct? Also do the stock P5 brake lines bolt right up to the new caliper? Any help would greatly be appreciated!
