got a knock time to build

Well i bought a MSP for 2200 with a engine knock.
i am currently ripping the engine out of the car right now
i am looking for ideas for the build

i am new to MSP or to any mazdaspeeds.
i need help on choosing forged parts
i am not planning to race it but i do plan to boost it up to 13lb

hints on rods, pistions, bearings, belts, gaskets and exhaust manifold.

Most people use OEM rod bearings I believe. A lot use Clevite as well but I have heard bad things.

well the car i bought had a knock just tore it apart and might need a new crank, will a regular protege crank from a fs motor be the same?

Yes any 01-03 protege FSDE has a forged crank

Wiseco forged pistons
K1 Rods
ACL berings is what my shop uses they are a tri metal rather then alum bearing.
Upgrade your oil system to a DocB

pauter rods! wiseco pistons. and steed speed makes a nice manifold if you can find one.
