Wiring Fog lights help

Hey all,

So I've facelifted my 1999 protege to an '02 front end complete with P5 Fogs and harness, I want to wire them into the car and haven't yet gotten around to it. Can I try to use the existing foglight harness that would need a relay and a switch for easier wiring or just try to run my own wires to the fuse box as well as an independent switch at the dash? Is it even possible to use the existing unused harness, and where under the dash would I find the wires to add the switch? I am fairly handy with wiring, I'm just uncertain how to go about hooking this up. Please help!

My vote would to be to just use the existing wires. If it's there, why not just use them.

All you need is a relay and a fog lamp switch. Find a relay and fog lamp switch on any MPV with fogs, P5, or ES 01-03
I did this conversion with my 02LX.

The OEM switch will look alot more flush then an aftermarket one.
