Possible torque converter issue on some later production CX-5s??

At the risk of spreading unsubstantiated rumors, there's talk on another (less active) CX-5 forum about a possible torque converter problem with a small percentage of 2015 (looks like it may me limited to that year) CX-5s. Seems to have to do with a quality problem on an internal component. Rather than try to explain it, here is the link to the thread http://www.mazdaforum.com/forum/mazda-cx-5-54/cx5-recall-34127/ so you can read it yourselves. Doesn't sound like anything to get all worked up over, but it is always good to have a heads up on stuff like this in case of future problems and/or recalls.

Definitely one to keep an eye on.

I'll have to subscribe to that thread. No TSBs yet.

I'm overly sensitive to transmission problems as those seem to be the ones that bite me.

Since this showed in Australia it could be the diesel model. IIRC there are some differences in the automatic transmission used in those models.
