cx7 advice for uk newbie

Hello to all , just about to take plunge on a cx7 and would like to know what especially needs checking on 2.3turbo vehicles. Am going to see 2 red ones at weekend , a 29,000 miler and a 54,000 miler. Your help well appreciated. TS

Check wheels bearing noise specially rear. Check for vibration at 30 to 40 mph.

Timing Chain, smoking turbo, A/C compressor & if it's AWD, check the rear differential for leaks. Also check for maintenance records. If the previous owner didn't change the oil regularly, then that will mean problems for you later. 2007-2009 were the problematic years here in the United States. Not sure if that applies to across the pond, but just going from a mileage perspective, I'd go for the one with the least amount of miles.
