Hi Moe Drama. Any chance you can rehost the pics? I'd like to see how and where you routed the inlet/outlet hoses.
I'll take some measurements soon. I installed it because I was going to be tracking the 5 and wanted every ounce of prevention possible. Original trans, I've owned it since 67k miles with an unknown service history. I've flushed it twice in the the last 20k miles. I think with the cooler the fluid will last longer.
Thanks Mark. Saw your post but didn’t see pic of what I was looking for. Also did you add an inline filter?Check out my recent post below on the trans cooler install I did on my 2012 Mazda5. It's got some pics.

Thanks. Good idea on using an old hose as jacket/sleeve. That is where I'm planning to route the line as well. I want to minimize the length of the hose as much as possible. Guessing the return line also goes through the same opening? Is there a reason why you decide to mount it horizontal vs. vertical? I fab’d brackets (leftover aluminum from storm door floor seals) and mount it vertical to the bumper beam itself. My though was to create some separation between the aux cooler and the radiator to avoid blocking air flow to the radiator This also allowed me to put the cooler higher and behind the beam b/c the radiator indicates it gets banged up down low. I decided on vertical mount to let gravity help with flow (over thinking?). I am also adding a manafine inline filter. Did you add a filter? Here are a couple of pics when I installed mine last summer. I used an old u shaped section of radiator hose to route the cooler lines through under the d/s headlight. Worked perfectly and protects the hoses from chafing. I don't have any final install pics though.
