I'm not sure this is actually a problem, it might be working as designed.
I have a 2011 RX8 R3 and a Samsung S3. They pair and work just fine with one exception. I have to tell the car by voice setup to reconnect to the phone every time I start it up. Once I give the voice command things seem to work fine.
It seems to me that this should be automatic.
